It’s only when Jonathan Fields executed his idea, Good Life Project, as a video interview series, that I got a good look at him. If I had a single reference photograph of him — or worse, the single photograph he submits to media — I’d have no idea what he looks like. It’s only once I see him talk, emote, smile, even move his head to angles I won’t use in the drawing, can I judge what to include. (He has a face that begs for a profile, I’m sure you’ll agree. I’m sure he’d agree.)
He has since converted the video series to an audio podcast, which is an even better fit.
